Charles Heidsieck Champagne & Cases
Champagne from Charles Heidsieck Available in Individual Bottles and Cases
Charles Heidsieck was an ambitious and audacious man who founded his Champagne house at the age of 29 near Reims. From the outset he focussed not on the vineyards, which he left to the experts, but on the ageing and production processes which would result in Champagnes of distinctive character and with unparalleled depth and texture.
Heidsieck purchased 47 chalk cellars to create the ideal conditions for his exceptional wines and he was obsessed with creating precisely the right blends to excite the palate. The passion for perfection and the charisma of this Dandy were evident in the wines and his methods have been passed down the generations ensuring that Charles Heidsieck Champagnes remain elegant, forthright and defined.
The Brut Réserve is an iconic masterpiece comprising three champagne varietals in equal measure. A precise blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay together with reserve wines and more than three years' maturation produces a complex, deep and golden champagne to savour.
The remarkable Rosé Réserve is a pulpy and lively Champagne with a powder pink hue and notes of strawberry which is chalk cellar aged for three years and more. With a complex nose of ginger and berries partnered by a delicate sparkle this is truly a Rosé to surprise and delight.
At The Fine Wine Company we are also delighted to showcase the Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millenaires 1995 a champagne of legendary vintage which is complex yet incredibly fresh. A precise blend of superlative Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, this multi award winning Champagne features notes of brioche and dried fruits and a pleasing velvety texture.
For more than 160 years the passionate endeavour of Charles Heidsieck and his descendants has produced an iconic range of exceptional Champagnes for discerning palates across the globe.
